POLYMER CLAY: Turtle Class

Turtles!!! You gotta love those sweet faces, and they are a symbol
for good luck. We will learn how to make some basic color blends and
construct these guys piece by piece. Portions of the proceeds from
this class go to benefit the Leatherback Turtle Foundation. They
are one of the oldest animals on the planet and in 20 years they
will be gone.

have a beginning understanding of the chain mail process. We will
make multiple earrings based on the box, Byzantine, flourette,
harlequin, and parallel weaves.

ornaments using the sculpting techniques. Spirals to make

What is taught in the open workshop?
Lana May teaches
easy to advanced bead weaving. You can start by doing rings,
necklaces, earrings, purses, bouquets, toys; it depends on you. In
the course of the class, Lana can show you not only the American
beading techniques but Russian, Indian, and Egyptian as well. Come
and work for an hour or two or spend the whole day!
